Citi hires Jeff Emmanuel

Citi has appointed Jeff Emmanuel as Managing Director, Asia Pacific Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Vice Chairman, Australia & NZ Global Banking.
Jeff will be responsible for Citi's FIG businesses in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and in this role will report to Chris Knoblanche and Tony Osmond, respective Heads of ANZ Global Banking and Investment Banking, and Simon Yoo and Jing Zhao, Heads of FIG Asia Pacific. "I am delighted to welcome Jeff to Citi - he has a track record of delivering success for clients and has led some of the key transactions in the FIG space across Australia, New Zealand and the wider region. This key hire underlines Citi's commitment to offer clients the best talent in the industry to support their needs," said Chris Knoblanche, head of Global Banking for Australia. Jeff joins Citi after nine years with UBS Investment Bank, where he was most recently Managing Director, APAC FIG based in Hong Kong. Prior to this role, he was Head of Equities for their ANZ businesses. Jeff has extensive experience across numerous high profile capital raising transactions within the FIG sector. Jeff has a Bachelor in Economics from Monash University and a MBA from the University of Melbourne. |
