Freehills affirms optimistic outlook with four new partner appointments

Rabobank Australia and New Zealand has announced the appointment of Luke Chandler to the position of general manager of its Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory division.

Mr Chandler has returned to Australia - after a three-year posting in Rabobank's London office establishing and heading the bank's global Agri Commodity Markets Research team - to take on the new appointment.

Freehills affirms optimistic outlook with four new partner appointments

Freehills has promoted four of its lawyers into the partnership as the firm prepares for further growth across a range of areas.

The four new Partners will take up their roles from 1 January 2012, despite the firm traditionally appointing new partners mid-year.

Freehills CEO Gavin Bell welcomed the latest entrants to the partnership and congratulated them for their achievement.

‘It has be an extremely successful year for Freehills, which is the result of the high standard of industry expertise and legal services we provide to our clients. We are seeing a strong demand in areas such as energy & resources, employment and industrial relations, banking, infrastructure, corporate regulatory and dispute resolution. These appointments reflect our anticipated growth in these areas,' he said.

Freehills' new partners are:
