Deloitte in Papua New Guinea (PNG) has recently promoted three people to partner to cater for increased revenue growth.

The new partners are, Ernie Gangloff, Kirsty Laird and Bouke Wagenaar. Deloitte in PNG now has 7 partners and 135 people and is focused on clients across the following industries:

  • Resources
  • Property and construction
  • Finance
  • Public Sector and State Owned Enterprises
  • Landowner entities

Paul Barber, Office Managing Partner of PNG, said: "These promotions are fully deserved and reflect the developing business environment in PNG and the increasing demand for services and the more complex and varied nature of those services."

"There is a greater demand for advisory and consulting services as well as the more traditional compliance services and we are changing our structure to meet those demands. 3 partners deserve promotion and will help our office increase revenue as well as lead and develop dynamic teams," added Mr Barber.

David Murray, National Leader of Deloitte Private and a senior leader in PNG has assisted in growing Deloitte's PNG office over the last seven years.

"It is fabulous to witness our office experience such strong growth and provide opportunities to promote hard working people to partners within PNG," said Mr Murray.

"Revenue in PNG has increased by 27% over the last 12 months and we are targeting substantial further growth for the 2011/12 financial year, These promotions position us ideally for additional growth across the firm but most markedly within our citizen staff." added Mr Murray.
