Professor Rushe has founded & managed fibre carriers, data centres, ISPs, content providers &  social media businesses.

JohnBaker_smallJohn Baker is Chairman of the Board of AgriFood Skills - strategic leadership in skills, training products and workforce innovation for the national agrifood industry: rural and related industries, food processing (including beverages, wine and pharmaceuticals), meat, seafood and racing.

 

John was a Director of the NSW Harness Racing Club (Harold Park) for 18 years and completed the maximum of six years as Chairman and President, and a former Board Member of the controlling body Harness Racing NSW having served a full term of four years.

He was appointed inaugural Chairman of the Agri-Food Industry Skills Council in May 2004.

The company name was changed to AgriFood Skills Australia in 2008.

AgriFood Skills Australia was established in May 2004 as one of 11 Industry Skills Councils to provide accurate industry intelligence on current and future skill needs and training requirements for the agrifood industry.

AgriFood is a public company limited by guarantee with an industry-led board of nine directors and five industry advisory standing committees. Funding is provided under contract by the Australian Government through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
